MiTAC display MiAIOT in Mobility Asia Pacific Smart Transportation Expo

From April 27 to 29, Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Center hosted the group exhibition of the “23rd Secutech Expo,” “Mobility Asia Pacific Smart Transportation Expo,” and “2022 Rail Technology Application and Operation and Maintenance Business Exchange.” The exhibition site brought together companies involved in information and communication, software, system integration, etc.; there were 220 exhibitors from 6 different countries and 420 booths overall. Vice President William Lai Ching-te and Deputy Transport Minister Xianglin Hu were among the dignitaries who attended the opening ceremony. To demonstrate the integration capabilities of MiTAC Information Technology in 5G, AI, and in-vehicle devices, MiTAC displayed the MiAIOT 5G train monitoring and protection system and in-vehicle display for the rail industry.

As a smart data convergence platform, MiTAC’s MiAIOT uses the three steps of AIOT operation (data standardization → data insight → prediction warning) and integrates 5G network to form an track smart cloud security protection network, so that problems can be handled early and risks can be prevented. Additionally, it works in tandem with a visual war room to support management units in making the best choices quickly and precisely. It has been used in the railroad’s train monitoring and protection system, which is highly regarded in the transportation sector.

In the “Nationalization of Railway Operation and Maintenance” section, MiTAC also displayed its in-vehicle displays for the rail industry. In addition to upgrading the traditional LED specification to LCD high-definition, the display area has been enlarged to allow for a more diversified layout of information, providing passengers with a more intuitive presentation of information.
