RFID Industry 4.0 Solution

MiWarehouse RFID Warehouse Management System

The essence of warehouse management is to make effective use of limited storage slots stacked together and follow the First-in, First-out principle to ensure that materials don’t expire and become scrap. MiWarehouse can be used in complex warehousing environments to realize this management goal.

RFID Passage/Handheld Scanner

The use of RFID passage and handheld scanners can quickly scan the stock-in and stock-out operations for large quantities of parts/semi-assemblies/finished goods. A process that took 20 minutes before can now be accomplished within a few minutes.

Benefits

Limited storage slots, materials stacked and mixed together, and the FIFO principle mean that a large amount of manpower is needed to process and find storage slots to meet process all the goods moving in and out of storage during warehouse operations.MiWarehouse offers an advanced RFID process that eliminates the complexities of stock in/out operations, lowers the workload, and improves efficiency. Maximum efficiency can now be delivered with minimum manpower.

MiForklift RFID Forklift Management System

Stock-in and picking with pallets and forklift is a convoluted process so forklifts needed an upgrade to reduce human error.MiForklift uses a combination of onboard unit and RFID technology to automatically locate and notify the driver of the appropriate storage lot after scanning the picking list. Once the forklift detects the pallet tag, the pallet contents are displayed on the onboard unit to ensure that it matches the picking list.

RFID Onboard Unit/Geo-Tag

Once the goods come off the production line, they need to be placed in large warehouses for FIFO management. The RFID smart onboard unit/geo-tag allows electric forklift drivers to quickly locate the pallet storage area, verify the quantity of goods, and place them in the appropriate location.

Benefits

Using conventional printed documents for placement and confirmation of material numbers in a large warehouse takes a lot of time and effort. MiForklift combines the forklift with RFID smart onboard unit/geo tags to speed up the manual recording and confirmation process.

MiJig RFID Jig Management System

Special jigs of various sizes are an indispensable part of the production process. Trying to manually manage them with printed paperwork is just very inefficient. MiJig can use RFID to manage the distribution, use and return of jigs. The savings in time and manpower can be redirected to the production process instead.

RFID Desktop Scanner/Scanning Box

The traditional way of recording the pickup and return of jigs on handwritten forms is not an ideal method. Using a RFID desktop scanner/scanning box to scan pickups and returns saves time and prevents mistakes.

Benefits

The correct jig must be used on the production line or an entire batch of products may need to be re-tested. Attention must also be paid to jig service life to ensure that it doesn’t impact on yields or bring production to a complete halt. Solder paste management at the MiJig site for example strictly controls time of use after annealing. Fool proofing of steel plates ensure compatibility with the SMT process; the specially designed adhesive RFID Tag can be washed with water while Bar Code can’t be used.

Mi e-Rack RFID Electronic Rack and Cart

Complex orders and multiple orders per job mean that wafer shipments may not always be a full lot. This results in issues with loose materials in inventory management. Mi e-Rack can effectively identify leftover materials in inventory, and quickly locate wafers. It also solves challenges with the transfer of semi assemblies/inventory stock and shift hand overs.

RFID Smart Rack/Smart Table

RFID smart racks and wafer cassettes are used for RFID bundling management to keep a full record of all wafers inside each cassette. A smart tablet can be used to query and inventory the goods on the rack at any time to greatly enhance management efficiency.

Benefits

How do you quickly and correctly pick the required materials when an entire rack is lined with identical wafer cassettes? Mi e-Rack uses rack lights that interact with the smart tablet system to solve this real-world management problem. The rapid pinpointing of wafers makes accurate picking easier and simplifies goods pick-up.

MiTraceability RFID Production Resume Management System

In old production methods, MES is not integrated with the production equipment so there is no way to manage every production detail. Production interval can only be recorded in lots. MiTraceability can be seamlessly integrated with the production line equipment. Sensors and RFID Tag carriers can accurately record the entire production resume and all production details

Tracing Object/ Touch Control IPC

Tracing Object can filter out spurious signals to provide the correct RFID signal. Visualized management of the production process can then be performed through the HMI interlace on the IPC in real-time.

Benefits

How can MES systems that work in lots accurate control the inputs and outputs of each process station? Rather than having to scan a Bar Code at each station, the production line can use MiTraceability and RFID Tag carrier’s station sensing mechanism to automatically register for each work station. The operator can then synchronize with the MES for high-precision management without having to do an extra scan.

MiAuthorization RFID Machine Authorization & Security System

Personnel security and surveillance have always been important issues in plant management. How to effectively manage the contractor movements within the plant during machine installation and maintenance? How to prevent unauthorized people from accessing and using classified operational settings? MiAuthorization combines RFID Tag with special clean-room coveralls to prevent unauthorized access and use of screens even if facial recognition is not possible.

RFID Smart Box/Clean-Room Coverall Tag

RFID Smart Box installed at each machine scans the surrounding area and determines the access privileges of any clean-room coverall tags it picks up. Screens are then shut down if necessary. The user is also logged and any violations reported.

Benefits

The rapid growth of the foundry industry has led to a spate of technology thefts in recent years. How to protect trade secrets such as production parameters against unauthorized personnel is therefore a critical issue. MiAuthorization is designed to combat this problem by protecting trade secrets and information security.

MiPatrol RFID Inspection System

Old inspection methods with printed logbooks are no longer adequate for meeting the management goals of smart factories. It can not verify whether inspections were actually made either. MiPatrol uses RFID technology to manage different types of objects. Electronic forms on handheld devices are used to ensure that inspections are conducted punctually and thoroughly. Management precision is effectively improved and data can be collected for analyzing operations and performance.

NFC Handheld Device / RFID Tag

NFC handheld devices that sense and interact with RFID tags can be used for recording of meter readings, equipment inspections, industrial safety audits, environmental testing, conduit patrols, work supervision, supervisory audits, security/guard attendance, and preliminary inspection of production processes.

Benefits

MiPatrol optimizes management by using electronic patrol logs to confirm that personnel have clocked-in, and are carrying out their work. Required tasks can also be managed digitally in accordance with the relevant regulations or internal controls. All equipment can use this system rather than just specialized equipment to reduce the waste of manpower from re-working and data-entry. This improves overall operational efficiency.

MiConstruction Paperless Construction Permit System

A self-service mechanism is used to process new construction applications within the plant and integrate the existing internal review system. Field tasks such as work signs and supervisory checklists can be carried out on a tablet. All work information is recorded and can be displayed on a TV wall. Displaying all construction work’s location and scope within the plant allows for computerized management of plant construction/supervision/industrial safety inspections.
