Intersection Video Surveillance System
Real-time imagery supplied by intersection surveillance systems is analyzed with AI technology to play a key role in law enforcement and criminal investigations. Advances in AIoT technology saw MiTAC integrated Video Management System (VMS), Intelligent Video System (IVS) and the Central Monitoring System (CMS) platform to help administrators improve usability and integrate their operations. The efficiency of law enforcement units and investigators are also improved as the system can help them identify clues more quickly.
System Components
- Central Monitoring System (CMS):Central Monitoring System (CMS) is an integrated management platform characterized by a high level of integrative and an intuitive user interface. PKI is used to streamline the configuration of the security system to improve the level of information security. Geographic Information System (GIS) data ,as well as road and camera overlays, enable the direct management of hardware and surveillance footage. VMS allows footage from a single camera or all the cameras in an area to be reviewed. License plate recognition can then be applied to trace a vehicle’s movements. The AI function in IVS can then perform object analysis to assist administrators with their decision-making.
- Surveillance Camera (CCTV):Surveillance cameras are divided into intersection cameras, license plate recognition cameras, and pant-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras. They can be tailored to different environments and feature H.265 technology, high image quality, wide dynamic range and low-light functions to support all-weather operation.
- License Plate Recognition (LPR):Conventional OCR optical recognition technology is no adequate. AI technology can provide greater recognition accuracy through repeated learning.
- A I Smart Edge Computing Solution (MiAION):LPR involves working with real-time data. MiAION greatly improves the efficiency of LPR algorithms to provide a better quality of service.
