Vice President Rober Ting presented with the 2020 “Outstanding ICT Elite Award”

The “Outstanding ICT Elite Award” of the 2020 Information Month recognizes information elites with outstanding contributions. It is the highest honor in Taiwan’s information and communication industry.
Vice President Ting received the award on behalf of MiTAC for his achievements in e-taxation, and overseas outputs.
Reasons for Winning

  •  e-taxation: The Company provided assistance to the government in setting up comprehensive taxation, e-invoice and local taxation systems. The Company also won the Asia Pacific e- Achievement Award and the Government Service Quality Award.
  • Overseas output: in 2018, 21 e-Gates were set up and put to use in Manila, Cebu, Clark and Francisco Bangoy international airports. In 2019, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed for the smart cities of Redland City and Logan City, Queensland, Australia for using the MiAIOT platform for road damage detection in Logan City and vector mosquito control in Redland City.
  • MiTAC received the 2019 System Integration Output Award and the 2020 GO SMART Award from the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance.
