MiTAC showcased Smart Transportation Solutions at Taipei Ampa 2022
At the recent 2022 Taipei AMPA and AutoTronics Taipei exhibition, MiTAC Information Technology Corp. and MiTAC Digital Technology Corp. jointly showcased the latest Smart Transportation solutions at the “Taiwan Telematics Industry Pavilion”. The Smart Transportation Solutions included MiAIOT X 5G Train Protection and Monitoring System and Smart BusTicket Validator from MiTAC Information Technology, and the video telematics solution – MioEYE K series from MiTAC Digital Technology, gaining considerable attention from the industry.
“Taiwan Telematics Industry Pavilion” was organized by Taiwan Telematics Industry Association (TTIA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and served as a platform of the industry of Smart Connectivity, Smart Mobility and Vehicular Technology.
Aiming to increase railway safety and improving transport efficiency, MiAIOT x 5G Train Protection and Monitoring System integrated 5G Network, ATP System and Edge AI Devices to provide cloud-based train operating data exchange, real-time train warning system, AI equipment abnormality prediction, and feeding all these crucial information to a visualized situation room. The platform will assist the digital transformation of Taiwan’s rail industry in the future.
The MioEYE™ K Series is an innovative smart fleet camera with up to 3-channel full HD 1080p resolution to provide comprehensive views inside and outside of the vehicle. Powered by the Qualcomm® SoC for on-device edge AI capabilities, the smart camera is capable of supporting Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring System (DMS).
