This year at Smart City Summit & Expo in Taipei, MiTAC Information Technology has showcased the latest MiAIOT solution with applications in Smart Epidemic Prevention, Smart Building, Smart Energy, Road Defect Detection and Littering Detection.<\/p>\n

MiAIOT is an AIoT platform specifically designed for smart city applications. It can thoroughly analyze IoT Big Data and apply AI technology to provide governments and enterprises with insight to make the best decisions.<\/p>\n

In Smart Epidemic Prevention application, MiAIOT automatically collects data from various sensors in the field. For example, mosquito count from an \u201cAI mosquito recognition\u201d digital trap. When and if the real-time or predicted mosquito count has been reached, the system will issue an event alarm, alerting the responsible agencies (such as the local health department) to deploy prevention actions in advance.<\/p>\n

In Smart Building and Smart Energy application, MiAIOT can integrate various building operations information such as environmental data, power usage, access control, communications, and meeting room management etc. to provide not only a better user experience and a safer environment, but also an opportunity for facility managers to operate the building at maximum efficiency and proactively address many of the day-to-day challenges.<\/p>\n

In Road Defect Detection and Littering Detection, MiAIOT employs AI image recognition technology to detect road damage conditions and also any illegal events with location, time and license plate information.
