MiTAC being certified the PS&D and Communication Subsystems passed the Inspection and Acceptance Process by Bombardier Inc.

(Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C.) MiTAC Information Technology Corp. (“MITAC”) has received the “Final Account, Inspection and Acceptance Certificate” for both Power Supply & Distribution and Communication Subsystems of Taipei Metro System Muzha Extension (Neihu) Line, issued by Bombardier Inc. on October 5, 2012. This is to certify that MITAC successfully had its scope passed the inspection and acceptance process as required by Subcontractor Agreement on June 22, 2012 and now under the warranty period for two years.

The Muzha Extension (Neihu) Line includes the new Neihu Line for 12 stations, 1 Depot and the total length is 14.8 km. The Subcontract Agreement values about NT$ 408,350,000 in the Communication Subcontract, and NT$ 1,023,650,000 in the PS&D Subcontract, of which MITAC shall be responsible to supply a comprehensive and functional basis to satisfy the contractual and technical requirements as outline in both Subcontracts.

The Communication System for Muzha Extension (Neihu) Line includes the following principle elements. MITAC provided the design, system supply, installation, testing, training and maintenance for the supplied principle elements.

- Transmission Network System

- Public Address System

- Direct Line Telephone System

- Automatic Telephone System

- Dot Matrix Display System

- Electronic Mail System

- Clock System

- CCTV System

- ON-Train Communication System

- OCC Communication Console and Digital Recorder

- Computer Control and Monitoring System (CCMS)

The Power Supply and Distribution System for the Muzha Extension (Neihu) Line includes the following principle elements. MITC provided the design, system supply, installation, testing, training and maintenance for the supplied principle elements.

- The 161 kV bulk supply substations (BSS)

- The 22kV/750Vdc Propulsion Power Substations (PPSS)

- The 22kV/380-220V Facility Power Substations (FPSS)

- Gap Breaker Substations (GBSS)

- Supply power to Shop Power Stinger System

- The 750V dc Power Rail system

- Emergency Power Trip Station System
